Aymeric Martinoia, MBA 

Mr. Martinoia owns and operates VIE Invest, LLC, a boutique, registered investment advisory and consulting firm serving affluent private investors and families both in the US and internationally. Mr. Martinoia carries on a decade-plus career in the private wealth management industry. Mr. Martinoia’s trilingual ability (French, English and Spanish) allows him to comfortably navigate the complex world of global business.

Mr. Martinoia’ s journey began in his native country, France, where he graduated with a Techniques of Commerce business degree and played professional basketball—the latter of which enabled him to come to the US to attend Northeastern State University in Oklahoma on scholarship. After earning his B.A. in 2002, Mr. Martinoia went on to attend the University of Memphis’ Fogelman School of Business, where he earned his MBA with a graduate assistantship. He was immediately recruited by SFGC international corporate office to serve as the heart of their financial executive management team, where his responsibilities included the coordination and oversight of numerous international projects located in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. From accounting, auditing, sports marketing (NBA, PGA and Real Madrid), and public relations to large international nonprofit initiatives, business development, and private equity investments (USA, Latin America and Israel), Mr. Martinoia was exposed to various projects that have molded his approach to global business. In 2007, Mr. Martinoia transferred to the private client group division in Houston, TX to work with high-net worth private individuals and professional athletes. He advised and directed both domestic and international investment portfolios, asset allocation strategies and planning for clients located in the Americas and Europe. Bolstered by these unique experiences, Mr. Martinoia joined MassMutual Financial Group, a life insurance AAA-rated and Fortune 100 company, as a Financial Planner in 2009. Working with individuals, families, and businesses, Mr. Martinoia was responsible for client planning and risk management aspects (estate, financial and retirement). By designing customized strategies tailored to specific objectives, Mr. Martinoia ensured that his clients’ overall assets were optimally protected and efficiently allocated, taxed and transferred. Mr. Martinoia qualified to the Leaders Conference of the company two years in a row. In 2013, Mr. Martinoia joined Vere Global, a regional private wealth management firm, in order to provide a more efficient investment solution for his clients. As the President, Mr. Martinoia has shaped the firm’s footprint by establishing an international platform, key strategic partnerships, and overall business development, which includes community involvement and the recruiting of financial advisors.

In 2015, Mr. Martinoia founded VIE Invest, LLC, a boutique investment advisory firm based in Houston, Texas, with focused consulting expertise for clients in the Americas and Europe. Mr. Martinoia has meticulously designed the firm’s specialized services, using a vision of steady value creation, and strives to provide the highest degree of Value, Independence and Execution to his family of investors. VIE Invest leverages off its three-division platform to optimize its clients’ assets productivity and offers a high degree of flexibility. VIE Advisory provides high-value investment management through the strict focus of “talent allocation strategy” and the objective selection of the very best fund managers, a process that the large institutions cannot execute due to the major financial incentives they receive. In all aspects of his life, Mr. Martinoia’s prides himself on his honesty, integrity, and dedication to advocacy for his clients and relationships. His passion for athletics – he played in the Professional Basketball Pro A French league for his native city, Montpellier, and on the NCAA Division II team at Northeastern State University – demonstrates his leadership, hard work and competitiveness. Mr. Martinoia has always put a special emphasis on social responsibility and philanthropy: over the years, he has served as a board member for the Blues Foundation, acted as a member of the Alliance Française de Memphis, the Latino Learning Center committee in Houston, and supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, where he earned his MBA. In 2010, Mr. Martinoia initiated and founded the annual St Jude “Angels of Hope” Latin Gala in Houston and served as the advisory chair in 2011 and 2012, raising more than $450,000 in its first two years. The event was then renamed “Un Brindis Por St Jude” and became a prominent Houston event.  Mr. Martinoia was raised on the French Riviera, between the beach and mountains, and enjoys good friendships, sports such as basketball, “his” hometown soccer team of “Montpellier Hérault”, swimming, as he is also a fervent scuba diver, certified professionally as “divemaster”. Mr. Martinoia lives in Houston, Texas with his ten-year old son, Aymeric.
