John Hauser

John Hauser has a background in both law and finance having practiced in the insolvency and reorganization group of a major law firm representing banks in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings. He has held Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 licenses. John draws upon 30 years of starting, growing, running and advising businesses achieve its mission. His expertise includes business management, finance, and law in industries spanning manufacturing, technology, real estate and travel. A native Houstonian, he spent a quarter of a century in the Pacific Northwest attending law school (where he graduated magna cum laude), practicing law, building businesses and helping business owners realize their dreams and goals, before returning to Houston in 2011 to reconnect with family and continue his work guiding owners of private companies.

During his career he has run a half dozen companies employing more than 400 people, practiced law, restructured nearly a half a billion dollars in debt, built companies from scratch, saved companies from the brink of disaster, developed strategic plans and the budgets necessary to cause them to come to fruition, bought businesses, sold businesses, closed businesses, hired, fired and counseled employees. He has evaluated investments including active operating businesses, and pure investments from stocks, bonds, real estate, commodities, derivatives, currencies and private equity. He has gained the admiration, respect and loyalty of those that have worked for him and those that have worked with him. He has saved his clients tens of millions of dollars and made them multiples of that by developing and implementing creative solutions to challenging problems.
